 Board Officers
LACAAEA was established in the 1970s. Currently, it consists of nine Board Officers and has more than 400 members.
One of the primary functions of our association is to give members opportunity to network and interact with other members and guests, including senior county management.
The Association's Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Members are encouraged to attend the Board meetings whenever they can and to offer suggestions and comments. To become more involved with our Association, please check the Calendar of Events, or call (213) 243-8113 to obtain information on upcoming functions, or leave a message in on the voice mail. On May 20, 2010, the Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association (LACAAEA) organized wonderful festivities that celebrated and recognized the countless contributions and accomplishments of Asian and Pacific Islanders in Los Angeles County. Click here for details.

Congresswoman Judy Chu, Ph.D., 32nd District, extended a warm welcome to all those who gathered at the Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association's Asian Pacific American Heritage Day Celebration on May 20, 2010 via a A Certificate of Congressional Recognition and letter, which can be viewed online.

In May 2010 and 2009, California State Governor Arnold Schwazenegger sent PROCLAMATIONS to congratulate the Los Angles County Asian American Employees Association and proclaim May 2010 and 2009 as "Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month." The 2010 PROCLAMATION and 2009 PROCLAMATION can be viewed online.

On May 20, 2010 and 2009, California State Controller John Chiang sent warm congratulations to the Los Angles County Asian American Employees Association in celebration of Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. The 2010 scroll and 2009 letter can be viewed online.
