Meav Ear graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1993. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration in June 2010 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
She began her career with Los Angeles County in 1998 as an appraiser trainee with the Assessor’s Office. She became an Audit Supervisor in 2006. She has worked in various offices in the Assessor’s office and has truly enjoyed meeting and working with the taxpayers of Los Angeles County for over a decade.
Meav has served the Association by working on the Scholarship committee and helping to volunteer as needed at the association’s various events. She strongly believes that this is a wonderful organization that provides its members to opportunity to meet other county employees on a professional level, to learn more about other county departments and programs and to learn more about Asian Americans.
Meav is also the Secretary for the Society of Auditor Appraiser’s Southern Chapter. On a personal note, Meav enjoys hiking and camping with the meetup group Greater Los Angeles – Veggie Hikers.
