LACAAEA's Meet & Greet Reception, November 18, 2010
Honoring Newly Appointed Department Heads
Los Angeles, Nov. 18, 2010 -- The Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association (LACAAEA) hosted a Meet and Greet reception for Los Angeles County's two newly appointed department heads. The event was held at Empress Pavilion Restaurant (Chinatown) on November 18, 2010. Approximately 200 people attended to "welcome" and congratulate these two new leaders.
Michael A. Gin, field deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe, and a mayor for the City of Redondo Beach, served as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. We are thankful for his participation at today's reception. George Yan, Supervising Deputy Probation Officer and John S. Hina, Human Resources Analyst and Ombudsman introduced Donald H. Blevins and Lisa M. Garrett respectively.
William T Fujioka, Los Angeles County Chief Executive Officer, nearly twenty other department heads and many other special guests attended the Meet and Greet reception. We thank them for taking time from their busy schedules to help LACAAEA honor and welcome
two newly appointed department heads!
