Citizens Alliance (CACA) installation dinner on Feb. 5, 2010 at the Empress Harbor Seafood Restaurant in Monterey Park, California.

On February 5, 2010, the Chinese American Citizens Alliance - Greater San Gabriel Valley Lodge (CACA) held its "2010 Installation of Officers". The CACA seeks to equal economic and political empowerment for Chinese Americans, to improve the community’s general welfare, to practice fully American patriotism and citizenship, and to promote friendship among our members and all peoples. CACA champions civil and immigrant rights and community improvement.
The installation dinner was held at the Empress Harbor Seafood Restaurant in Monterey Park, California. Paul Wong, the outgoing President of CACA and a member of Los Angeles County Asia American Employees Association LACAAEA, received many commendations for CACA's "50th Biennial National Convention". It was with great planning and attention to detail, under the leadership of Paul Wong, that the San Gabriel Valley Lodge successfully hosted the biennial convention during June 2009. Representatives from across the nation attended and was subjected to the grand hospitality of the San Gabriel Valley Lodge members. We congratulate Paul Wong on a job very well done!
During the reception, the CACA installed its new officers. Amongst the new officers are incoming President, Robert Gin, and Grand Representative, Paul Wong. The evening's entertainment included a performance by the Mark Keppel High School (MKHS) Band. MKHS was named Silver Medalist among nation's top high schools by US News & World Reports. Adam Schiff, California's 29th District Congressman; Mike Eng, California Assemblymember of 49th Assembly District; Congresswoman Judy Chu, Walnut City Mayor Tom King and Walnut City Councilwoman Mary Su along with many other dignitaries were in attendance to recognize the outstanding services provided to the community by CACA since its creation in 1895.
At the end of the reception, the incoming president Robert Jin expressed warm new year wishes to attendees to celebrate the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year,
the year of Tiger, that falls on Feb. 14, 2010 and said "Gong Xi Fa Cai", or "Wishing you prosperity".
