Irene Ng Hamada started her County career
in 1970 as a Recurrent Typist Clerk with the
Assessor's Office. She has held various
clerical, secretarial, and staff positions
over the years in the Assessor's Office,
Real Estate Management Department, and
County Engineer-Facilities Department.
Irene is currently an Administrator I with
the
Los Angeles Superior Court's Facilities
Services and Capital Projects Divisions
overseeing six unit operations and a
multitude of programs to include the
divisional budget and
expenditures, divisional human resources,
courthouse space assignment and planning,
ADA coordination, emergency preparedness,
food service contracts, telecommunications,
recycling programs, mail services,
transportation services, sign shop, and
warehousing.
Irene has been a member of the Los
Angeles County Asian American Employees
Association since 1998. She is a past Vice
President and Correspondence Secretary.

Irene. Irene lives in Alhambra and has
two very active daughters involved with
dance programs. The older daughter performs
with the East Los Angeles College's
Let's Dance Company, performing locally
and in Europe last summer. The younger
daughter is a member of the award winning
Alhambra High Drill Team competing locally
and internationally. Irene is a member of
the Drill Team Parent Support and can be
found fundraising at all Drill Team events
and football games.
